What's New in these last few days of March?

I started a new day gig and I'm still adjusting to fewer hours in the day. And daylight savings sort of kicked my but since the two things happened in the same week. But I got some stuff done. Here's what you can lap up for the next couple of weeks since March is almost over:

1. New Joke
2. New Quote
3. New Recipe
4. New Oprah
5. New Lips, Hips
6. New Body Language Video - Alicia Brandt!
7. And the Almost but not quite daily blog.

I'm working on securing a new Queer video, but if you haven't seen Chloe's video, please watch. You will be inspired.

Okay, so I'm not a doctor and I'm not a dietician and I'm not a nutritionist and mostly I find those people difficult to follow and overwhelming and they make me mad sometimes. If I were to try to get as many servings a day of the things those people suggest, I would be the size of the Jolly Green Giant and have a bloat the size of the Titanic. Plus I would never have time to do anything else. What I am is someone who has struggled with her weight since birth and finally feels like I have a handle on it. I'm just here to share with you the things that have helped me. Over the last three and a half years I have lost 75 pounds and I have kept it off for almost two years. I did it in a few different ways. But what was most important for me to discover and realize is that we are ALL different. Go figure. Who knew that not eating might not actually make me lose weight and, in fact, might cause the opposite? I know it now. Not every diet plan or every exercise plan works for every body. Nor does it work with every psychology.
